‘Big Brother Canada 3’ spoilers: Take a look inside the new house!

House -Big Brother Canada” is clearly doing its part right now when it comes to achieving one clear mission: Having something for us to talk about almost every day until the premiere. This weekend, we’re going to be penning our annual predictions article, and that is going to be a blast to do. Also, pressure! We’ve successfully picked the winner for two straight years, and we like to keep up the pretense that this is due to something other than luck (even though it’s really not).

Today, we have for you a gallery of photos from the new house this season, and if there is one word to describe it, it’s this: Steampunk. Basically, if you either love anime or anything in the “Bioshock” series, you’re going to absolutely love this. If you love a minimalist style, you will be driven up the wall by it. This place is busy. For the most part, we like it, and the layout of the house is the exact same as last year. (The show had to move to a different location between the first two seasons, which was a reason in part for the drastic makeover then. We can tell you after doing interviews following the finale last year that the place is way smaller than it looks on TV, and we would legitimately lose it in there surrounded by people all of the time.

Here are a few quick observations and things we love, and things we … well, let’s just say that they could use a little work.

1. That hallway above to the engine room-themed bathroom is really rather sweet.

2. There’s some serious clashing going on with that big red couch in the living room. Couldn’t they have gone with a better compliment?

3. We’re in love with both the bathroom and the kitchen in particular. These two rooms have the coolest color palette and really suit the theme.

4. The worst “room” is probably the pool, mostly because it feels so much like the pool area last season. Granted, that’s not bad.

5. We want to call the main bedroom the “Bioshock Infinite” room, given that it is seemingly in the clouds.

Overall, we know that not everyone will dig the look, but we’re fond of it. We at least appreciate that the show is going through some sort of effort to be artistic and not just throwing the same thing out every season. Granted, a few weeks in you start to forget what the entire house looks like in the first place; instead, you are focusing more on the drama.

If you missed it, we spoke exclusively to all the houseguests this season before they entered the game. Head over here to read some of their pre-game strategies and why they wanted to be on the show this season.
