‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11, episode 16 preview: Is Meredith concerned over Derek?

There is clearly trouble in paradise on “Grey’s Anatomy” season 11, but what sort of trouble is it, exactly? This is the main subject of conversation in the new sneak peek below, which relies heavily on getting am unfortunately chance to see Meredith wonder whether or not her husband is cheating on her.

She specifically here relates an encounter in which she called Derek’s phone, only to have another woman pick up. She never had a chance to actually speak with him, and given how offscreen Patrick Dempsey has been on the show as of late, it is anyone’s guess here trying to figure out what is really happening with him. All we hope is that things are not so dire as they appear. We’ve already seen Callie and Arizona split this season, juts as we’ve also seen April and Jackson lose a child. Sadness is a part of life, but what is also a part of life for the most part is getting to see people be overly paranoid or miscommunicate matters from time to time.

We’re not sure that this will be something that is corrected at any point in the near future, especially when you think about how many episodes are still left this season. It’s hardly like Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey’s characters were even on great terms before he left for Washington; this is going to take a lot of time and effort on the part of both of them to fix things.
