‘Big Brother Canada 3’ pre-game exclusive: Will Pilar Nemer bring ‘goofy’ energy to the game?

Pilar -There are some contestants on reality shows who go into the house and do about a million different things the first night. We’re not entirely sure they know what they are doing in the game, but they are so much fun they don’t really care. Pilar Nemer on “Big Brother Canada” is one of these such people.

As you are about to see, this has to go down as the shortest “Big Brother Canada” interview that we’ve done by far. Although we had way more time with this interview (due to the short answers) for the sake of fairness, we really didn’t want to ask more or different questions to different people. Sometimes there are people on this show who don’t show their potential until they are in the house; hopefully, Pilar is one of them. What we can say is that she seemed to laugh often throughout this interview, though sometimes it felt out of context. (We usually include laughs in parentheses in these articles, but it didn’t make a whole lot of sense in this particular instance.) For those who haven’t seen any of the other exclusive interviews yet, head over to the link here.

Tell us about yourself: Your name, where you’re from, your age, and what you do for a living.

I am Pilar Nemer, 23 years old. I was born in Mexico, but I live in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and I’m a student.

What made you want to try out for Big Brother Canada this year?

The experience.

How big of a fan of the show were you before trying out?

I am a big fan of the show, yes.

If you could compare yourself to someone from either BB Canada or BB USA, who would it be?

I want to say Talla, because I’m goofy!

What’s something about you that would surprise people?

That I am competitive and I do take some things serious. I’m not always silly.

What’s your basic strategy going into the house?

I think it is just to play a social game. I don’t really have a strategy, game-wise.

Is there any one thing you are the most excited to do this season?

I really want to experience the whole game in general. I’m really excited to get in there and see what happens.

What do you think your biggest weakness could be?

Lying to people.

What are hoping to get out of the show: Money, fame, love, or just a good time?

A little bit of everything! (Laughs.)

If there is one message you would pass along to the Canadian public before entering the game, what would it be?

It’s going to be an amazing season, Canada! You don’t want to miss out!

Overall impression – As we said earlier, that’s all we had. We’re not going to get into the business of ripping people, but we would tell future houseguests that it’s never a great move to not share very much in terms of yourself to fans before the game. While she’s done plenty of other interviews, you want to make sure people can root for you! As far as the game goes, we cannot see anyone being too threatened by her.
