‘The Bachelorette’: Is Kaitlyn Bristowe – Britt Nilsson debate more or less over?

Kaitlyn -Tomorrow night marks the finale of “The Bachelor,” and it also happens to be the time when we are finally going to learn who the identity is of the next “Bachelorette.”

At this point, we’re starting to feel like this is the worst-kept secret in Hollywood, next to Chris Soules joining “Dancing with the Stars”: Kaitlyn Bristowe’s probably getting the gig. While not confirmed, there were already rumors that she was spotted around Los Angeles over the past few days with a film crew. (Filming has not actually started yet for the season in terms of the cast, but the show could still get together some b-roll footage or something.) She’s also got the endorsement of Chris, host Chris Harrison likes her, and in all of our polls, she received many more votes than the other top contender Britt Nilsson. This became a two-person race over the past two weeks, but after “The Women Tell All” everything started to become clearer.

So if it’s Kaitlyn, when will filming start officially? Typically, it happens within a couple of weeks of “The Bachelor” ending; the show has to be on a pretty tight filming schedule, since it tends to premiere in late May. That is not a huge turnaround, and it’s a good thing that “The Bachelor” finished filming in the fall. That gives the contestants a little bit of time to recuperate before going out and doing anything else.

Even if Kaitlyn gets the spot and you were rooting for someone else, remember here that there is the chance someone else could either appear on the show at some point to help her, or be a contender for “Bachelor in Paradise.” That show will film this summer.
