‘Conan in Cuba’ video: Watch Conan O’Brien’s opening sequence right now!

The video below -You do not have to wait a whole lot longer at all to see Conan O’Brien’s recent visit to Cuba. As a matter of fact, we’ve got some video evidence of it right now below!

This particular video is an extended peek from tonight’s episode, and will open the show. The late-night comic spent four days in Havana and beyond, and what he was desperate to show here is that the people of this country are open to America, extremely interesting, and ready to experience so much more in the way of culture. There is an air of cultural significance here. Conan is aware of the fact that he has a very young viewership, and many of these people may have been asleep at the wheel during some of the history classes that they were taking in high school.

Ultimately, we just hope that this episode brings a whole lot to the table when it comes to fun, and shows us more of what we like about this series in the first place: It’s fun. Conan is not out to make some sort of extreme political statement, or prove some point about how Americans should act in Cuba. He’s just acting as a comic first and a teacher second. Even if you don’t watch the full episode, we recommend recording it. This was so important for Conan to do that he even decided to film it the same weekend as the 40th anniversary special for “Saturday Night Live.” Despite his checkered history with NBC, we’re pretty sure that he had to at least be invited to attend.
