‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11, episode 12 video: Meredith dances around Maggie’s questions

Where was Meredith on “Grey’s Anatomy” during her supposed trip to see Derek? Since Maggie knows at least a certain element of the truth, her suspicion is going to be a driving force for at least a certain part of Thursday night’s new episode.

In the sneak peek below, you can see a major part of this as Maggie questions just what Ellen Pompeo’s character was up to … and Meredith clearly lies to her face. This is clearly not one of the best looks for Meredith, and it is something that she is going to have to work on if she wants to make things right. There are already many theories out there about where she went, with one of the most interesting ones being that maybe she went out to Switzerland to see Cristina. If that was the case, though, she would not have had a whole lot of time to actually spend with her.

Now that we’ve said all of this … how much do we have to beg to ensure that we don’t have to endure something as terrible as seeing Meredith and Derek break up? Given how many other sad moments we’ve seen for other relationships / marriages on this show already, this would be a little bit hard to take and then some.

Luckily, we imagine that this episode Thursday will give us answers. This show is not one to hide something like this for a long time, and that will probably once again by the case here. We’ll have more after it airs.
