‘NCIS’ season 12 spoilers: Mark Harmon’s Gibbs lends a helping hand

More news -We knew very well already that Agent Gibbs can be a caring guy, but through the upcoming “NCIS” episode “Cabin Fever” airing a week from Tuesday, what we are going to see is a story that is all about just what exactly he is willing to do in order to ensure that Fornell helps to heal. This is a man who has definitely been through quite a lot as of late, especially when it comes to Diane’s murder.

What is particularly interesting about this episode is mostly what Gibbs is letting himself not be a part of in order to take part in this. For some additional updates on that, take a look at the synopsis below:

“The NCIS team suspects Gibbs’ arch-nemesis is behind an explosion at a summit for global terror event, but Gibbs elects to sit out the investigation in order to help a grief-stricken Fornell, whose life is on the verge of imploding following his wife’s murder.”

This episode is hopefully going to be a chance for Mark Harmon to give a great individual performance, which is something that he has not always had chances to do this season. We know this show can do action sequences; we’ve seen that happen so many times over the years that we have started to become a little numb to it at this point. This is why the personal, emotional episodes really tend to get to us more than anything else.

What do you think about this episode in theory, and are you glad to see that the show is addressing what happened to Diane so quickly?
