‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: How Dianna Agron, Naya Rivera, more re-enter picture

With the premiere of “Glee” season 6 coming on Friday night, isn’t now the best time to really get a sense of what to expect? We like to think so, and Fox seems to agree at least to a certain extent.

There was a new sneak peek from the two-hour episode uploaded this morning to TVLine, and it shows fundamentally how Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) is able to recruit many of her longtime friends to come to McKinley High. This includes the likes of Quinn (Dianna Agron), Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), Puck (Mark Salling), Santana (Naya Rivera), Brittany (Heather Morris), and many others. Apparently, all it took was a quick phone call to have them come out together to help with the recruiting efforts to find new glee club members at the school. The whole basis of this season is Rachel trying to establish a new culture of success at McKinley High, one where arts education can be added as a part of the curriculum again after Sue Sylvester was forced to shut it down.

As for how long many of these particular people are going to be sticking around, it really varies depending on who you are speaking about. For example, Quinn’s stay on the show may be reasonably short, given how Agron has some other projects in the works, and she hasn’t been a huge part of the show in years. Meanwhile, we do get the sense that we’ll see quite a bit of Santana, Brittany, Mercedes (Amber Riley), and Sam (Chord Overstreet) before everything ultimately comes to a close later this year.

In the end, we just hope that these final episodes silence many of the critics, including us, who feel like the show’s finest hours were all the way back in the first three seasons.
