‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 spoilers: Another couple is on the way!

Walking Dead -Why wouldn’t you want to find love within the zombie apocalypse? When we think about it, we see that in many ways, there are advantages and disadvantages to it.

We suppose it is best to start with the advantages, and the most notable one that we can think of is strictly this: They keep you from boredom, and help to maintain your humanity. The world of “The Walking Dead” cannot be an easy one to live in, and sometimes, you crave a human connection to remind you of what the old world was like before things started to go completely insane.

However, there are also big disadvantages. It is another person that you have to worry about, and occasionally, we see that being a liability when you are trying to spend so much time first and foremost ensuring that you do not die. Also, it could hurt more if they end up dying, they can cloud your judgment, and it may not be that easy to date when everyone smells. Maybe you get used to the lack of showers.

Now that we’ve laid out the groundwork, it appears that Glenn / Maggie and Abraham / Rosita are not going to be the only couples on the show moving forward. Just take a look at what executive producer Gale Ann Hurd had to say to E! News:

“There’s got to be! Of course they’re in the cards, I can’t say when they’ll happen though.”

There are of course many possibilities here, given that you still have characters like Rick, Daryl, Carol, Tyreese, Michonne, and others that are still unattached. The last romance we had was between Bob and Sasha, and that didn’t end well when the former of the two became barbecue (or Bob-B-Q, as Twitter coined it).

Maybe this will be at some point in the second half of this season, but who knows? Maybe the producers are planning really far ahead, given the show does have an additional season coming up for sure.
