‘The Fosters’ season 2, episode 12 preview: Return date and much more!

Where do we think that “The Fosters” is going from here? Now that we’ve flashed back to Christmastime, we can better look towards the future.

First and foremost, let’s talk the return date and time. The series will be coming on ABC Family on Monday, January 19 at a new time, and that is 8:00 p.m. Eastern. The show has the challenge of leading off the night, and we’ll have to see just what sort of scoop comes out before then. The show is actually arriving on the air a couple of weeks after “Switched at Birth” and “Pretty Little Liars,” and that surprises us somewhat.

One of the big stories that we are going to be seeing on the show moving forward is around Callie and her biological father as Quinn is going to be very much looking to continue the adoption process. Unfortunately, Callie is not going to be that interested in leaving the Fosters behind.

Also, there is still plenty more relationship drama still to come. Basically, we imagine that so long as you like everything else that the show does on a regular basis, you are probably going to like this, as well. There is not exactly a whole lot of evidence that we’re going to see the writing staff or the characters break the mold at some point in the near future.
