‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: More early Chris Soules hype
Are we on the cusp of one of the greatest seasons of “The Bachelor” ever? We have to be honest here and say that the jury is very much still out. The fact that the creator of the franchise is hyping things up is somewhat-encouraging, but at the same time, this is something that happens almost every season of the show.
Anyhow, what we are referring to here is the tweet below from Mike Fleiss, which encourages us that we have a “wild ride” ahead this season. The reason we feel like there may be a little more substance here beyond just the typical “this is a great season” message that we get from executive producers is simply that he hyped up a little more of the drama than the show’s actual quality. That to us suggests that this may really me a trainwreck of epic proportions. We just hope that it is the right sort of trainwreck.
The biggest thing that we hope for from this season, which premieres January 5, is a cast of women who bring the drama and get people talking all over America. We don’t like the drama to come from the lead on either this show or “The Bachelorette,” since we’re meant to be rooting for them. That’s why Juan Pablo Galavis’ season was so hated, since he came across as more of a villain that the majority of the people on the show.
We’ll probably get some of our first real impressions after Thanksgiving, which is when the veil is typically lifted on some of what we can expect from the show.
