‘Game of Thrones’ season 5: A way to keep Hodor at heart during HBO absence
We love Hodor. Who doesn’t love Hodor? The character, despite only knowing a single line, is probably one of the most beloved people within the world of “Game of Thrones.”
So why not get a little bit more Hodor in your life right now? This is something that we’re going to give you a great opportunity to do, and it is all courtesy of Google. Basically trying entering just the word “Hodor” into the search page, and you are going to get a pretty interesting response to that. Moving beyond that, try using the app or your microphone to say it. The results are equally entertaining.
This is hardly the first time that the folks over at the tech giant has done something with their search engine to produce a little bit of fun. With that being said, we still very much enjoy it.
It was revealed earlier this year by actor Kristian Nairn that we are not going to be seeing his famed character at all during the fifth season of the show, with the primary reason for it being that the story on the show does not want to get that far ahead of where it is in the books. There really is not any more of Hodor / Bran Stark’s story to tell right now, and with that, we end things for the time being.
There are some other ways to keep up with “Game of Thrones” over the next couple of weeks. After all, Natalie Dormer is doing an Ask Me Anything on Reddit, and there are always old DVDs that you can go back and watch. Basically, there is a mass plethora of different ways that you can dive in and enjoy the show.
