‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, episode 6 preview: Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride’s journey in ‘Consumed’

Daryl -Next week, “The Walking Dead” returns to TV with another new episode entitled “Consumed,” and there was one significant thing that we saw through it above all else: Panic, mayhem, and sadness. There is no cure for the apocalypse, at least that we know of.

With that, maybe the sight of Daryl Dixon will be enough to cheer us up. The episode is entitled “Consumed,” and presumably, one of the major orders of business in this hour may be getting an opportunity to see what Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride were up to, presumably prior to her arriving at the hospital. This is the third-to-last episode in 2014, and it should tell us a lot in order to explain what the gameplan for Carol and Daryl was.

The official synopsis does not give away much, but some detail is a little bit better than no detail at all:

“Members of the group venture into a familiar location on a heroic rescue mission.”

Ultimately, what we are really looking forward to here is a story that will be extremely entertaining, and also showcase something that everyone seems to love: Daryl killing people with a crossbow.

As for when we were return to Eugene and company, it may not be for a little while. At the moment, we don’t even know with 100% certainty that the guy is actually alive or dead. Maybe that will become a little clearer in the days ahead, as more and more people start to speak out.
