‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: ‘About a Boy’ and further speculation
There’s always something fun that comes out of talking about “Supernatural” episode titles. Maybe a part of it is knowing that they do typically tie directly into the storyline, and maybe there is also a part of it that stems from how creative most of them are.
At the same time, there also has to be a certain amount of tentativeness that comes from it even though episode titles often can change in a matter of days before one airs; we’ve seen it happen before, and it will almost certainly happen again.
As a matter of fact, this is even something that co-executive producer Jim Michaels warns us about in presenting the tweet below, which contains the title for the upcoming 12th episode of this season: “About a Boy.”
For those who are flipping through a TV guide somewhere and see this, we could actually see a little bit of confusion coming on. After all, this also happens to be the title for an NBC comedy, which ironically airs at the same time that the CW show does.
With all of this being said, this is a title so vague that it’s hard to really speculate about too much. Are we going to see the return of one of the show’s younger characters? It’s possible, as is getting a chance to see someone new enter the picture. The name “About a Boy” suggests that we don’t know that much about the boy already.
One other thing to consider here is that maybe this could be a flashback episode to the early days of the Winchesters. That’s at least what we are pulling for.
