‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2, episode 7 preview: Coulson haunted by the writing
The past few episodes of Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” have been rather difficult ones for the Phil Coulson character, and we don’t come bearing good news for him right now: It’s not about to get any easier for him.
In the sneak peek below, we basically have a little more information now when it comes to the alien writing, and just how severe the problem is getting for him. At first, Clark Gregg’s character claims that the writing only came to him sporadically, but now, it is coming every day and night, and he doesn’t know how to stop it or turn that part of his brain off. Basically, he needs all of this to end just for the sake of his own sanity.
Is it going to? This is where the hard part comes in for this character, given that there are virtually no guarantees of anything. They may be doing all they can to stop the writing and figure out its source, but there is only so much that this group can do right now. This is also not the SHIELD that we had last year; they are more under-the-radar now, and most-likely still recovering somewhat from the incident with the Senator in the last new episode.
Also, they have to worry about Ward, who at the moment really should be one of the last people they really want to be worrying about. Given that this is the November sweeps, we can only imagine things getting even crazier for some of these characters from here on out.
