‘Bones’ season 10, episode 7 preview: ‘The Money Maker on the Merry-Go-Round’
Just as the promo guy in the “Bones” video below says, the evidence is pointing to something … and this time, it is potentially a rather fun, pretty-silly case that is going to air on the Fox series next week.
Just the idea of the victim itself is interesting, given that you are talking about someone whose body parts are discovered spinning around at a playground. Really, it is the sort of thing that would be sickening if Twisty the Clown was anywhere nearby, but because it is “Bones,” they are able with their tone to somewhat-disarm you from the horrors of it.
The promo below is by and large a good deal of fun, since it also teases competition, and Brennan struggling when it comes to common expressions. Meanwhile, the official synopsis below suggests at least a few things that are somewhat more serious when it comes to the newcomer of Aubrey:
“After severely damaged human remains are discovered under a merry-go-round, the Jeffersonian team begins a complicated investigation of a billion dollar hedge fund company. When the victim’s boss (guest star Gill Bellows) becomes a prime suspect in the investigation, the case takes a major turn as the team uncovers incriminating evidence against the victim. Meanwhile, the investigation becomes increasingly difficult as Aubrey feels an emotional connection to the case, and Booth and Brennan are at odds when Christine curses for the first time.”
In the end, we mostly suspect that we are going to have a few little standalone episodes right now while we prepare for the big occasion that is the 200th episode. That is where we could have everything from a big case to some great guest stars who have helped to make this show really what it is over time.
