‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ episode 5 preview: Prepare for big Michael Chiklis episode

There has to be a reason why Michael Chiklis was cast on “American Horror Story: Freak Show” … right? Anyone who watched “The Shield” knows that the guy possesses some pretty incredible acting chops, but the unfortunate thing at the moment is that the actor isn’t being given a whole lot to do other than being strong or angry.

What we really know about the strongman Dell is that he was a lousy father, not a good man for Ethel, and basically ruined her entire hope to be a great performer. Also, he seems to think that he is right 100% of the time when it comes to what Elsa Mars needs to be doing with the Freak Show.

While we cannot say too much about this story just yet, we will at least go ahead and tell you that if you’re pining for more information on Dell, this story is going to bring that for you and then some. There will be flashbacks, and through some of these you will learn a little bit about who this character is, what he wants, and also how he probably became the surly person that he is right now.

Hopefully, also in here will be a few opportunities for Chiklis to really show off some of his acting chops. As a longtime fan of the actor, this is really all we can hope for.
