ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: More on Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, wedding episode
Are there reasons to be excited about the next new episode of “Castle” entitled “Time of Our Lives”? It definitely seems like it, even when you look beyond the fact that Castle and Beckett are likely to be married by the end it.
This episode is going to start off with the simple-but-interesting premise that in an alternate universe, Nathan FIllion and Stana Katic’s characters never met. What would their lives be? It seems as though they ultimately could not be any more different if they tried, based on what showrunner David Amann said to TVLine:
“Castle has never written Nikki Heat, because he’s never met Kate, and she has no idea who he is … The people around him, including Martha and Alexis, are different as well, in different kinds of ways, in direct reaction to the path his life has taken.”
Meanwhile, you can expect to see a few differences for even some of the other members of the force, including Ryan and Esposito. We’re curious to see how far this situation goes back, and also whether or not this changes anything for someone like Captain Montgomery, who died many years ago on the show. Would anything have changed that led to him surviving?
We’re going to get our answers a week from Monday, and above all else, the biggest thing you can expect is one of the best episodes hopefully of the show’s run. Given that this will mark the big wedding for the characters, you have to hope that there will be a reason for all parties involved to smile by the time the end credits roll.

“What if” ????? is followed by “Then this” !!!!!. Then, “What if” there is not an actual wedding would realistically be followed by “Then” where do several out of work actors, producers, etc. go to collect their unemployment. Really folks screw me once shame on you. Screw me twice shame on me. I will be out of here.

I want the wedding to be real and not a part of the alternate reality that Rick leaves or a dream he has in relation to all this. I’m seriously worried that there are games afoot again and the producers may be messing with the fans yet again….especially since the promo for the “honeymoon” episode says they are “posing as” newlyweds.

If the wedding is not real it will be another got’cha moment on the audience. Suckers. That will be very offensive to the audience. Never offend anyone you want to hang around unless you have no respect for them at all. If it isn’t a real wedding few will be back for 7.07.

“Posing” as newlyweds as not to draw suspicion to what they are actually at the ranch to do, which is investigate a murder. They are married for real by episode 7.

If they are actually at the ranch to investigate a murder I assume that they either had no honeymoon, they had their honeymoon before going to the ranch or they went to the ranch on their honeymoon but got involved in solving a murder while there. It would appear that the last case scenario would be the most realistic but does not agree with the statement that they went to the ranch “posing as newlyweds to solve a murder”.
