‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, episode 3: Lawrence Gilliard Jr. reacts to Bob story

The Walking Dead -The journey of Bob on “The Walking Dead” has been an interesting one over the past year or so. When we first saw him on the show last year, we almost didn’t know what to think of the guy. For a while, the only thing that we really knew about him was that he liked the bottle.

However, that really changed for us this season, and there was something so endearing about seeing him and Sasha finally discover a little bit of happiness with each other. It is unfortunately due to this that the show finally decided to make a big move, and put the character out to pasture.

So what does Lawrence Gilliard Jr. have to say about the end of his journey? The actor was not on “Talking Dead” last night, nor has he done many interviews. However, he did post a short message on Twitter, which was mostly an apology to those who felt betrayed by some of his interviews the past few months:

“Apologies TWD peeps! Apologies to everyone I’ve lied to in the past few months. Thanks to all of Bob’s rioters! See ya around!”

The great news for Gilliard is that we cannot imagine him being without work for very long at all. He’s too brilliant a performer, and he has both this show and “The Wire” on his resume. We imagine that he’s take his time, and figure out what the perfect landing spot for him is next.

For now, though, we’ll just remember the happy times that we had with Bob, who really was a nice addition to this crazy universe.
