‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Lana Parrilla on Regina, Robin Hood complications

When you are looking at the Robin Hood / Evil Queen relationship on “Once Upon a Time” (or “Outlaw Queen,” which is its current ‘shipper name), you have what is a very complicated puzzle right now. Robin is currently connected to Maid Marian, and while he may love Regina (he has basically even said such), there is still a tremendous obstacle that neither knows how to deal with. Robin may have been a thief, but there’s a difference between that and being a heartbreaker.

So how is Regina going to react to knowing the truth about Robin’s feelings for her? Well, it is certainly not going to be making anything easier between the two parties. Speaking in a new interview with TVLine on the subject of what happens next for the two, Lana Parrilla explains that having this information actually makes things a little harder for the two:

“It complicates everything … It’s easy if he says, ‘I’m an honorable man. I have to stay with my wife.’ As hard as that is to hear, it’s also what she admires about him. But when he says, ‘I love you and I know I should be doing the right thing but my heart lies elsewhere,’ even though Mary Margaret and Henry say, ‘This is something to celebrate,’ Regina doesn’t see it that way. She finds it harder to walk away from him knowing what he feels about her.”

Is there still hope for Robin and Regina? There’s always hope, but the answer here for them may come in trying to find who is truly the right person for Marian to be with. If they can find her a soulmate, then it almost gives them more of a license for them to be together enjoying life.
