‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2, episode 6 preview: ‘And the Abyss Gazes Back’

Is there a better time for an episode of “Sleepy Hollow” than Halloween? We would argue not, mostly because this show brings a lot of spooky stuff to the table. As a matter of fact, the original story of Ichabod Crane was almost an annual tradition for us.

The title for the next new episode is “And the Abyss Gazes Back,” which is going dive into a whole new mythology of monsters, darkness, and so much more. Also, we are going to meet a little bit more of Abbie’s past in the form of Corbin’s son.

Is there a synopsis to this episode? Yes, but it is so extensive and long that it basically gives away almost everything in the story, which we are not thrilled about. Therefore, we’re going to try to tease the story in a slightly different way.

Corbin’s son is significant to Abbie not just because of the research that his father was doing, but Abbie remembered him well thanks to her babysitting him when she was younger. This is a way to see a window into who she was, and how much things have really changed since that time.

Of course, there will also be plenty of other expected stories that play out during this episode, which includes a few shocking action sequences and moments that make you jump. We just hope that all of this lives up to the hype of airing a few short days before October 31.
