‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, episode 2 preview: Norman Reedus, Seth Gilliam, more in ‘Strangers’

Walking Dead -Tonight marks another new episode of “The Walking Dead,” and with that comes many questions. For example, who will be turning up, and who is the most likely character to die?

Let’s start with what this episode will for sure introduce: Father Gabriel! Seth Gilliam is the latest cast member from “The Wire” to be turning up on the show, and you have to think he will make his presence felt. As with many other characters from the comic books, there will be some obvious similarities between the character here and the version in the comics. However, there will be a few differences that show up in the weeks ahead.

Daryl -While we are meeting Gabriel, there will be quite a bit of time in this episode devoted to seeing some very-familiar characters, and this includes a certain Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus). There’s not much that this photo gives away, but the same could be said for almost every photo from “Strangers” released by AMC. The network is clearly not trying to give a whole lot away about the story right now, though we will tease the following:

  • Rick is going to continue to have a few leadership problems throughout the story.
  • Is it a good thing that Carl is starting to get a little more daring?
  • As the sneak peek video here gives away, Bob and Sasha are starting to get a little romantic, surprisingly enough.
  • Beth is still not probably showing up in this episode, though you are going to see Emily Kinney turn up on the series at some point.

As for who is the most likely to die this week, we’re sticking with either Bob or Sasha, mostly because this show never lets anyone stay happy for a long period of time.
