‘The Amazing Race 25’ preview: Could something slow down Misti & Jim?

If there is one thing that we’ve seen from Misti & Jim on “The Amazing Race 25” so far, it’s that they want to be really good at every leg. They are also so terrifyingly intense that it justifies every fear that we’ve ever had about dentists over the years.

Well, we’re going to have to wait and see what happens when these two finally deal with something on Friday night’s new episode that they really have not seen at any point over the course of the show so far: Adversity. As the teams arrive in Denmark, they are going to have to take on a challenge that manages to legitimately challenge and even frustrate the two.

Does that mean that they are in real jeopardy? Hardly. Thanks to this overpowered Tyler Perry Idol-like twist known as “The Amazing Race” save, there is zero chance they would be going home. Even if they were in danger, though, we would still say that the two are most likely safe. After all, the show rarely foreshadows the eliminated team in the previews, unless they go home for something unrelated to what is in the video. A good example here is what happened last week. Michael & Scott were eliminated, but it was due to a directions error more so than an injury that we saw in the promo.

The team we’d be slightly more worried about here is Shelley & Nici based on their meltdown at the mat … but even still, this could be a non-elimination leg if they are in last.
