‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, episode 2 preview: Father Gabriel; Rick’s many choices

The premiere episode of “The Walking Dead” was without a doubt one of the craziest ones we’ve ever seen. There was violence, action, and most of all Carol and Tyreese being awesome. Also, every major character somehow survived, despite us being almost 100% positive that someone beloved would die.

With a returning character and a new one in Gabriel turning up, next week’s “Strangers” should be very interesting. How will Rick Grimes lead the rest of the team forward? There lack resources, and they have to figure out if they want to take a big gamble in order to get more. As always when you are in a situation like this, you do run the risk of some pretty terrible things happening if you make the wrong move.

AMC is not one for releasing a whole lot of information about their episodes, but you can see a little of what we know right now below:

“With supplies running low, Rick leads a mission where the risk might not be worth the reward.”

There will of course be more walkers, and while everyone of importance made it somehow through the premiere alive, that does not mean in the slightest that they are going to be able to do the same exact thing when they are out away from Terminus. This is a very dangerous world, after all, and they are going to need a few more Father Gabriels to have any reason at all to have faith.
