‘The Originals’ season 2 spoilers: Joseph Morgan, Leah Pipes, more discuss story ahead

On Monday, October 6 (just three weeks from today!), fans of “The Originals” can start to celebrate: The new season will be here! There is a great deal of story that the show has to go through, and it will be wasting almost no time at all in terms of getting the action going again, and trying its best to surprise.

In the video below, you can see a little bit more right now of what certain cast members have to say about the story. Think of it as a foundation piece for everything that lies ahead, and narrated by such familiar faces as Leah Pipes (Cami), Joseph Morgan (Klaus), Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley), and many others. The general theme for season 2 seems to be simple enough: Trying to find a way to establish equilibrium in New Orleans once again.

With that being said, everyone has a different definition for what that means. For Klaus and Hayley, that may be finding a way to ensure that baby Hope can come back into their lives. Meanwhile, someone like Davina or Esther may claim a world without Klaus as a part of it. Marcel may be looking to expand its power base, and Elijah’s goals may be some of the most complicated of all.

This is in many ways part of the appeal for “The Originals,” as everyone has their own particular reasons and motivations for wanting to do things. This complicated tapestry will start to unravel itself soon, and we will just have to wait and see where everyone stands in the end.
