‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: Heather Morris returning, spotted with Lea Michele

Well, it seems as though almost every major character from “Glee” season 1 will be back for its final go-around, and we’ve even got photo proof of it: Heather Morris is returning!

This was confirmed in a post on Twitter by series star Lea Michele (which you can see below), who also confirmed that Heather has finally also joined the social-media site! This comes as a little bit of a surprise, given that for many years she was the sole holdout among the younger cast of the show. Still, we’re glad to see her on board, both in terms of her character and also when it comes to social media.

With this addition, the only notable omission right now from season 1 is Jessalyn Gilsig, who played the role of Will’s then-wife Terri, and possibly Coach Tanaka. We at least know that the Coach has a shot at returning thanks to his relationship with Coach Beiste, but there may not be a logical reason to bring Terri back, and given that there are only 13 episodes for the final season, that is not a lot of time to work with.

One other mystery is whether or not we will see anything from Jake, Ryder, Marley, Unique, or any of that class, who never really got a whole lot of closure. The same goes with some other recurring characters, including Joe Hart, Lauren, and Rory. There are just so many people to work with here, and only a short amount of time to do something.
