‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Derrick, Frankie, and more of the same
On the night that Jeff and Jordan’s engagement was displayed heavily on “Big Brother 16,” we had a day Sunday that was stuffed full of yawns on the live feeds. Other than actually letting us watch the Veto Ceremony live for a chance, which was a nice touch by the network to shake things up a little bit, the rest of the day was just as predictable and dull as you would have expected.
Mostly, the highlights of the night were just watching Derrick continue to make everyone think that he was constantly right. At one point, he and Frankie had a conversation where they talked one another up on how loyal they have been throughout this entire game. Right before that, Derrick and Victoria talked about how much they want to get Frankie out of the game, and there were similar conversations with him and Cody later.
Then, we also have to talk about the strategy of bashing people, which is something we don’t like, but understand why this is such a big part of the game. In “Big Brother,” you want to do everything you can in order to convince others that you are fighting on the same team as them. You want to have a unified cause to go against. That is why he wants to paint Zach as a He-Man woman-hater to Victoria, and why you can tell Frankie time and time again that Christine got booed because of the terrible things that she said in the DR. You can prey off of Victoria’s dislike for certain people in the game, and also her insecurities. The game with Frankie, who is desperate to be loved and adored by the world like his sister is.
It’s a brilliant gameplan by him, but it also makes for terrible TV and hardly makes us excited for the prospect of Derrick playing again.

Derrick is the master of telling everyone what they want to hear. Don’t these people talk to each other.
