‘Ink Master: Rivals’ episode 1 podcast: Jessa, Bart talk tattoos, judges, and drama

Ink MasterThe premiere of “Ink Master: Rivals” was everything we could’ve hoped for. We had epics fights, great tattoos, terrible tattoos, and egos the size of America: All in all – we are very happy with this season so far.

We are also happy to be back with our weekly CarterMatt “Ink Master” podcasts! Jessa and Bart will be with you all season as they voice their opinions on anything and everything “Ink Master”.

We have already brought you an “Ink Master: Rivals” preshow (which you can check out here) and now we are ready to dive into the premiere. This is the first season that “Ink Master” has brought us a theme for the show, and although we were a little nervous at first that the theme and drama was going to over run the tattoos, the premiere set us straight and showed us that the show is back on track.

Also Joshua Hibbard and Jason Clay Dunn are back and are actually working together in harmony so far. We never thought that they would be working together as well as they did, but the proof is in the pudding, and the tattoo they produced was easily the best of the day for us.  With that being said, during this podcast we will be talking about whether or not either one of our returning artists can break the curse and actually win this show. We will also be taking a deeper look at the talent this season and seeing if there are any early stand outs. And of course we will be discussing the judges (which we love to do in our podcasts) and seeing if they are putting on their judging caps this year or if it’s going to be completely random critiques.
