‘Big Brother 16’ spoilers. Julie Chen to announce ‘golden button’ twist during double eviction
Finally, could we be getting the twist that we have long been waiting to see on “Big Brother 16” tonight? It’s at least possible, based on the photo that Julie Chen posted on her Twitter account below.
Clearly, there is not a whole lot known about this just yet, other than that it is a golden button that when pushed, could hopefully have some really cool implications for the game. Could this mean Pandora’s Box is back, someone knew is returning to the game, or a reset of some sort? We still have nearly three weeks left in the house, so there is time for there to be another crazy shake-up in the producers want there to be.
Personally, we feel like this is exactly what this season needs: Some new reason to watch, regardless of what it is. Maybe it’ll be completely unfair, but at the moment the integrity of the game is dull. Seeing Derrick cakewalk to the end of the season is dull. We want to remember this season for something big happening, and there has yet to be one huge move that we will go back and discuss. While everyone may have mixed opinions on Andy Herren, his move to get McCrae to nominate and evict Elissa during the Double Eviction last season was pretty brilliant. It was frustrating television for those who wanted McCrae to keep Rachel Reilly’s sister, but it was at least something to talk about. McCrae wasn’t a slouch gameplay-wise, either, so this required actual effort on Andy’s part. We’re not even sure Derrick has to try hard with this crew.
Given that Julie said only that this twist will be “announced” tonight, we probably will not get to see how it impacts the game right away.
