‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6 spoilers: What will Nina Dobrev’s Elena witness?

“The Vampire Diaries” season 6 will be arriving on October 2, and even though there will be plenty of waiting from now until then, at least there is starting to be a nice amount of scoop here to tide you over.

With that in mind, we now bring you some of the latest when it comes to Nina Dobrev’s Elena. According to a new report from TV Guide, Elena is going to be present for what is one of the most surprising moments on the show in the early going: Caroline and Stefan having a conversation about her feelings for him.

So why would this moment really matter? One of the biggest reasons is just because of all the history that is there. From a friendship standpoint, Elena and Caroline have been friends since the beginning of the series … and even before that. In addition, she has managed to get a friendship bond going again with Stefan even in spite of the fact that the two were in love at one point in their lives.

Of course, the fact that the two were at one point in love is definitely going to complicate things in a big way. Will hearing about these two talk about feelings start up some of her own again? It seems unlikely, but it is still worthy of discussion. The one thing we feel is the most likely, at least based on some of the information we have, is that we are going to see Elena not really try to date anyone in the wake of Damon’s departure. She is going to spend more time instead trying to get over that.
