‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5 spoilers: Could Ali really be ‘A’? More information is coming

Tuesday night’s “Pretty Little Liars” summer finale obviously brought with it a whole heap of surprises, with the biggest one being the shocking death of a character.

But what about the idea of Ali being “A”? Throughout the episode, this was something the show really wanted us to believe from start to finish, especially when it was specifically someone with blonde hair killing Mona, and Hanna’s whereabouts were accounted for. Obviously, this could be a wig, and it is no mere coincidence that the show did not decide to show the mystery woman’s face.

Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, the actress behind the dearly departed in Janel Parrish made it clear that it definitely does look like it was Ali who killed Mona; however, she also made it clear that looks can often be deceiving:

“Everything is held close to the vest. We don’t really know who “A” is and we don’t really know this and we don’t really know that. In speculation, it looks just like Alison’s hair and I think that’s what fans are definitely thinking. That’s definitely what I’m thinking and what I was thinking while filming the episode. It would really make sense. That will all be revealed. As far as what it does look like, it looks like Alison killed Mona.”

Unfortunately, we don’t imagine all of the answers coming during the Christmas Special later this year. Answers never come on the show this easily, and it is probably very complicated and ties back to the original premise. (We know that the Cece Drake speculation will be out there for a while.)
