‘NCIS’ season 12 spoilers: Leslie Hope to return in ‘Choke Hold’
Want to see the return of another recurring favorite on “NCIS” season 12? Then you will be pleased to learn that a certain Navy Secretary is working her way back into the show.
According to a new report coming in now from TV Guide, Leslie Hope is going to be coming back for a mid-October episode in her role as Sarah Porter. The case in question revolves around the strangling of a research scientist for the U.S. Navy, and the title of it (appropriately, in a rather gross way) is “Choke Hold.”
What is interesting about this episode is that it will ultimately end up bringing an assortment of good news to the table. Not only will it be the one to introduce Porter again, but it will also mark the debut of Stephanie Jacobsen as a new love interest for Agent Tony DiNozzo. Already, this story is being marked with controversy by many fans, and that is pretty notable given that not a single episode of the season has even aired just yet.
Before we get to these stories, “NCIS” has a few other orders of business to take care of. The season premiere on September 23 is going to introduce a new Big Bad sort of character, and will put Gibbs through the wringer. Meanwhile, there will also be a Ducky story not too long after that where we start to figure out more of who this guy was when he was younger, and how he ended up in the position he is now in. There are a few other stories you’ve probably heard about time and time again, but they’ll be coming up a little bit later on the show.

Not really all that noteable – look at the “controversy” (another name for hate and vileness?) that occured when first the character of Ellie Bishop and then the actress playing her was announced. I just hope the producers have warned Stephanie Jacobsen what to expect…

I would like to see Jenny/Lauren Holly make her way back into the show, but since that’s never gonna happen…..First, I’d like to see Borin back, those episodes with her are always….dramatic. I’d like to see Diane come back. And I’d like it if they could maybe focus on Tony and Gibbs this season. A lot of last season was focused on Ziva, McGee, and Bishop. I wouldn’t mind seeing a Tony and Gibbs moment again, maybe about a case they worked together before the others joined the team. Or something that acknowledges that by season 12 they would’ve been ‘working together’ for 14 years.

I just hope Tony gets more than a flirtatious moment in one episode this season. He doesn’t seem to get much more than a one and done or two each year these days. Gibbs always gets the danger filled episodes and multi episode stories. McGee and Bishop got more significant attention than Tony last year. Nothing against McGee or Bishop, but I really hope Tony gets more than one insignificant C plot in one episode this year and then be treated as supporting cast to everyone else’s much bigger stories again this year. While I don’t dislike McGee and Bishop, I don’t find them very compelling and I’m just plain sick of Gibbs getting all the action. I really want to see Tony be more than the butt of the joke or “yes Boss” man for Gibbs.

Would like to see Agent Dorneget back (Matt Jones) for a few episodes. I would be funny if Delores Bromstead (Kate Fuglei) back with a crush on DiNozzo ever since he gave her the doll as her Secret Santa.
