‘America’s Got Talent’ spoilers: Will there be wild card acts?
In the wake of Wednesday night’s “America’s Got Talent” results show, we saw immediately a flood of questions on Twitter all about one thing: Whether or not there will be a wild card selection this year who can return to the show in the semifinals.
What is the simple answer? There will be, even if the results were not revealed during the show. The official Twitter earlier today started a hashtag in #AGTJudgesChoice to make it clear who you wanted to see returning at some point in the semifinals, and with 20 acts through, this means that each judge will likely have one pick. Our guess here is that the judges will inform the wild card acts in the coming days, and they will prepare for another chance.
What we are a little confused about right now is the specific criteria for who can come back, and who is stuck without another chance to perform. Take, for example, Dustin’s Dojo. They were beloved by many including two of the judges, but they did not make it through to the live shows. Could Howard Stern not pick them? Some of the other favorites for this, at least per our own assumption, could be comic Wendy Liebman, magician Mike Super, or Mothmen Dance from this week’s shows. We’ll have to see what happens, but we personally predict that they will mostly be non-singing acts since there are already plenty of them still around.
Who do you want to see come back on “America’s Got Talent” later this week? Share now in the comments below! Would have preferred that the judges pick 12 contestants (6th place finisher on each quarterfinal week and 3 from each judge) to have another week of voting in 4 wildcard constestants. I think that is more fair.

ActeIIMusic, they sing but it’s a very unique duet act. Also Wendy Liebman and One Voice Children’s choir. No more solo singers please. The best one by far is West.

Well thelr choreo on the last one was quite repetitive. They were also not so much in sync. Although I would have preferred them over Mel B’s choice in the Sissy Boys of Ballet.

Funny thing is, they promoted this “judges pick” back on Tuesday’s show, and they didn’t even squeeze it in. For a live show, they should have dedicated the time to do it, and not wait till the last second to announce the latest winner. They did it in the years past without waiting till the day-of to say who’s returning. Why change now?
