‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: ‘The Telling,’ renom rules, and public pleas

Frankie -Controversy has erupted when it comes to “Big Brother 16,” but mostly in the eyes of the viewers. The people within the house have already hashed everything out and fought about Zach extensively.

In case you missed it, Zach was pinpointed as a saboteur last night and blamed for just about everything bad in the house thanks yet again to Team America, who have turned him into the ultimate scapegoat. We’re almost surprised that he is still a target since Frankie and Derrick could routinely pin things on him until the finale if they really wanted. Technically, Team America was not supposed to blame production or a twist for the clothes being stolen, so it will be interesting to see if they even pass this test in the first place.

Here is where this gets interesting: Last night, Frankie told Zach straight-up that he was going on the block, since everyone in the house wanted it that way. He specifically threw Derrick and Cody under the bus. The problem? You cannot explicitly tell someone that they are going to be nominated and evicted. It’s called the “renom rule,” and Amber even read it out loud earlier this season.

Since this conversation, #RenomRule was trending on Twitter last night. Even Ariana Grande again chimed in, hoping that this was Frankie’s plan all along to save Zach by claiming that he broke one of the rules. (Ariana may be almost as big of a Zach fan at this point as she is her own brother.) This is actually one of those rare cases where celebrity may make an impact; you may not love that Frankie is in the house and there is a lot of pandering on the show, but her tweet is probably the major reason this was trending.

With all of this being said, we’ll be surprised if the rule is enforced, unless Frankie just claims that it is without it actually being. It has been enforced in the past supposedly, so we’ll see. The only reason that we’re doubtful is because we’ve seen a number of rule violations that go unchecked, such as eating real food as a Have-Not.

Anyway, we should know in a few hours thanks to the Power of Veto Ceremony that is taking place. Stay tuned for results of that, and head over here for some more highlights of last night’s craziness. Also, sign up today for more scoop on all we cover sent right to your email.
