‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4 spoilers: The latest progress report on filming

While we still do not have a premiere date at all for “Hart of Dixie” season 4, we at least know this: The cast is nearly at the halfway point of filming the new season.

In a new post on Instagram (which you can see the image for below), Scott Porter said that they have just held the table read for the fifth episode of the season. There are only going to be ten installments this time around, so by the time this hour is finished filming, the midway point of the entire season will actually be here.

Even though the season will be short, there will still be quite a bit of story to tackle. You most-likely know already about the plan to write Rachel Bilson’s pregnancy into the show somehow, and that will be challenge #1 given that she was not even dating anyone at the end of season 3. From there, you may have the struggle for Porter’s George Tucker to win over Lemon, as there seems to be a competition brewing anew for her between him and Lavon.

More than anything else, we just expect the same spirit and sense of fun on the show that we’ve come to expect over the years. We’ve always appreciated the lighthearted tone of the show, and when you look at it tonally, there is really not much else like it on television right now. Let’s hope it sticks around a while longer.
