‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: Looking past the Demon Dean story

If you love “Supernatural” and are familiar with the way in which the show goes about telling stories, we imagine that it would not be some enormous shocker of you to realize that the Demon Dean storyline will eventually come to a close. While it will last at least three episodes given what we know about Jensen Ackles directing himself in demon form, there is an end date to at some point in the future.

But given that so much of the story right now revolves around both this and the Mark of Cain, will there be something equally exciting coming up a little ways down the road? This is something that showrunner Jeremy Carver does address when speaking to Entertainment Weekly, at least by letting us know that there is really nothing to worry about in this department. We are still going to be very entertained by what happens from there on out:

“I think just when it seems like things might be starting to settle down, we will introduce a few new doosies to the world.”

The fun thing that comes with “Supernatural” is simply that it is so very hard to telegraph as far as it comes to future stories. You have to love the feeling of surprise, and the fact that there are twists and turns that could be coming up at almost every turn. All we hope is that they introduce some sort of new, very cool supernatural mythology coming up in the future.
