‘NCIS’ season 12: Mark Harmon, Michael Weatherly, cast celebrate most-watched achievement

More news -Largely thanks to the fact that working in television requires extreme hours and commitment as it is, there are not a whole lot of opportunities out there to really throw lavish parties.  Typically, it’s reserved for either milestone episodes, or other achievements of equal levels of grandeur.

In the end, isn’t being the most-watched show in the entire world something that is worth such a celebration? We know that the likes of Michael Weather, Mark Harmon, and more attended a bash for the show (one they didn’t have to travel far for), which celebrated the recent honor of being watched more than any drama out there. Of course, different countries are currently in the process of airing different seasons and were during 2013. While the USA had both seasons 10 and 11 in there, much of Europe had only season 10. Meanwhile, some other countries had seasons that were even earlier in the show’s run.

Ultimately, the real achievement here is that “NCIS” managed to become so popular that it was picked up and translated in so many different countries, which is something that every single cast and crew member should be proud of. Not only does it mean that there will probably be a fan in almost every country they visit, they also got a chance to have a little bit of cake while taking a break from filming. (There were also some media outlets at the party, so we may get some scoot on that in the future.)

Next June at the Monte Carlo TV Festival, we’ll get a chance to learn if the show will keep the honor for another year.
