‘Switched at Birth’ season 3, episode 19 preview: Daphne’s senior ditch day plans

Given that “Switched at Birth” has been dealing with some serious stuff lately, and there is much more to come a little later in the season, can you blame some of the characters for wanting to lighten things up and have a little bit of fun? We certainly can’t.

With that in mind, we present the newest sneak peek from Monday night’s new episode, which is all about Daphne alongside Natalie and Sharee trying to plan a senior ditch day. In the end, it seems like they manage to figure out what they want to do … even though we’re pretty sure that this will turn out much differently than they had hoped. Think about ti for a second: Are there really that many occasions when the idea of ditching school actually turns out to be a smart move, especially when there are so many who can be so quickly aware of it?

While there is a ton of uncertainty about where this show in particular is going to go after graduation, we are at least glad that things are heading in this particular direction. It’s becoming harder and harder to sell some of these characters as still being in high school, and this is a similar sort of problem to what “Pretty Little Liars” is going through. (However, that show is still trying to milk it for almost everything that it can.)

There are a few episodes of season 3 airing after this one, but you should still think of this as a nice foundation for the finale.
