‘The Fosters’ season 2, episode 8 preview: Mariana’s dinner party plans

Where does the story lie now for “The Fosters“? We’re going to be find out at least one piece of the puzzle in the newest sneak peek below.

In this look at Monday night’s installment, you can see Mariana try to make a big move when it comes to improving her social stature: Hosting a dinner party. This is the sort of thing that could go wonderfully … but we see that as unlikely. The vast majority of the time, anyone who claims that they want to host a dinner party on this show is someone who is basically just asking for a lot of trouble. Nothing at these events ever happens the way in which it is planned.

Then again, isn’t “The Fosters” a show that at least in some regard revolves around life lessons? We tend to think so, and that’s why we would not be too shocked if there were some big events that even came out of what we perceive to be trivial things. We would at least think of a dinner party, getting permissions, and so much more as trivial … but there is always something more underneath the surface.

While we don’t want to say too much now, let’s just say that by the end of the summer season, you’ll at least see a few things that you won’t see coming … including one big event revolving around a character not even included here. If nothing else, this preview is just one many things worth looking forward to.
