‘The Last Ship’ episode 7: Reflect on duty, commitment, and trouble

Has the journey of “The Last Ship” felt a little fast for you? Well, it only makes sense given what we’ve seen on the show so far. We’ve seen everything from outbreaks to attacks to of course some internal struggle, and the worst is not even over yet.

Given that the next episode is entitled “SOS,” and is really going to face the biggest challenge for Eric Dane’s Chandler to date, isn’t it a good time now for us to start to be a little prepared for what we could end up seeing? That is what the video below is ultimately all about. The purpose is to give you at least a little bit more insight into what happened on this past episode, the multiple roles that Chandler plays, and also challenge you a little bit to adjust your thinking about both the ship and the show.

At this point in the series’ run, though, you can at least take in a deep breath and not worry too much about the character. Even though he and the entire crew have many stumbling blocks to get over right now before they find something that even remotely resembles safety, there is already an official order out there for a second season. Therefore, there’s no real reason to be concerned about the immediate future of at least the show’s lead character. (As for everyone else, it’s always understandable that you may worry a little.)
