‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: High wires and endurance speculation

All it took was a few high wires being constructed in the “Big Brother 16” house for us to have a good idea about what is coming up Thursday night … and also how the game could be changing.

Based on some comments from Donny, Hayden, and others, there were 11 wires that were hung up in the backyard after an inside lockdown. This seems like a great clue that there is an endurance competition coming, and it really feels like the time for that. Also, it feels like the time for a game reset, where the Battle of the Block is no more and we are down to just playing straight “Big Brother” again.

If this is a clue to what is coming up, the real question we wonder is why in the world you would do this right now. To us, this is the show basically telling everyone to get rid of Amber. Endurance competitions typically favor smaller, lighter contestants, and by proxy women most of the time. She would be a big threat in that, whereas Jocasta has shown no ability to be good at anything other than heat exhaustion.

We have a feeling that the vote will probably be unanimous for Amber to go anyway, with Caleb being the only person who tries to save her out of some cavalier ridiculousness. As for the likely Head of Household winner, we would not be stunned to see Christine, Nicole, or even Victoria pull this one off. All of them need to win more competitions eventually to make a case for themselves; we don’t necessarily think comp. wins are that important, but most casuals who haven’t really watched the show hold that in high regard.
