‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5, episode 8 preview: Lucy Hale’s Aria vs. Big Rhonda

Is “Big Rhonda” a little more shrewd on “Pretty Little Liars” than any of us previously imagined? After watching the latest sneak peek below from Tuesday night’s new episode, we’re starting to wonder that very thing.

Basically, Aria ends up having a confrontation with her after she is caught returning a certain book to her room. Rhonda has a history with Bethany Young, and thanks to that, she is actually the person who she needs on her side more than anyone right now.

The question for the time being is this: Is there a way that Aria can somehow turn this massive negative into a positive? She needs to be able to ensure that Rhonda is on her side, and that she is not trying to do anything to harm her or Bethany’s memory. She’s an ally, but the unfortunate thing is that it’s hard to trust people … especially at Radley. We don’t feel like Rhonda killed her roommate, and had no real reason to. We also don’t think Eddie Lamb is involved in it. Someone else out there is pulling the strings, and this all ties back to Alison DiLaurentis and her mom.

In the end, though, remember that there are a few more episodes coming up this summer after this one. Therefore, there is no real reason for the show to hurry up the reveal. We may at least figure out more about Bethany at the end of this season, but probably will not learn who tried to kill Ali in the process.
