‘The Bachelorette’ finale spoilers: Josh Murray meets Andi Dorfman’s parents (video)

Monday night’s finale of “The Bachelorette” is only a few days away now, but one of the most-important parts of the entire competition is still to come: The part where the men meet Andi Dorfman’s parents. At this point in time, it’s to be seen whether or not Andi’s notoriously-terrifying father Hy approves of either Josh Murray or Nick Viall.

As you can see in the sneak peek below (via People Magazine), we certainly know that Josh in particular is nervous. Hy can read that off of him right away. Another interesting part of this comes via Andi basically trying to convince her dad that while Josh is an athlete, he’s not the same sort of athlete that Juan Pablo Galavis was, and cannot be judged just because of something that he used to do.

In the end, we do feel like Josh is going to get along just fine with the family. He knows their neck of the woods well already, is a friendly guy, and can come across as very confident and charismatic. We know that Andi had concerns about whether or not there was something more there thanks to this, but in this particular setting this attitude is something that will most-likely end up working in Josh’s favor.

Still, it is very rare that we have seen this “meet the parents” at the final two seriously sway someone’s decision, mostly because the people who make it this far know what to say and do, and are also typically real people who want to make things work (with a few exceptions here and there).
