‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: First official photo of Georgina Haig as Elsa

Hopefully, ABC did something today to ease off on some of the insanity around the set of “Once Upon a Time” lately. There has been a flurry of paparazzi looking to get in on the “Frozen” action by posting photos of Georgina Haig as Elsa. We haven’t shared any of those thanks simply to the fact that they ruin the entire magic of the show, but we now have an official one that keeps all of this said magic intact.

Not only that, but this quick look at Elsa seems to make it very clear that Haig is perfect in the role. Her stance and her facial expression remind us almost perfectly of the Elsa character in the movie, albeit in a different world. Also, the costume looks significantly better than many have given it credit for in some of the other photos. We do wonder whether there will be more effects added in post-production to make Elsa seem even icier, but for the time being, production should be pretty darn happy with the job they are doing.

The story for Elsa is still by and large unknown, save for the fact that she at least has history with one of the Storybrooke characters and that the producers here are not too interested in crafting a story that takes anyone far from where they were in the movie. We wonder if this will at times almost feel like a pseudo-sequel with hose close to the film those in power are staying, but we will have to find out a little more about that as time goes on and we hear more about casting.
