‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Frankie Grande told of grandfather’s death
For all of those wondering whether or not there would be a definitive answer as to whether or not Frankie Grande on “Big Brother 16” would be told of his grandfather’s death, we now have an official answer for you: He was informed of the news mere minutes ago.
The way that the show handled this news was that Frankie received a letter from his family in the Diary Room, and it told him about what happened when it comes to “Grandpa Grande.” He made the decision to stay in the game, but only because that’s what his family wanted him to do. This seemed to be the right way for production to do it. There were reports about the Grande family just keeping the information from him, but that didn’t seem right.
Also, Frankie is going to be allowed to send some sort of message to his family. We don’t see this as preferential treatment or anything like that; it’s just the right thing to do. Everyone in the house other than a sleeping Caleb was there to hear about the news, and gave him a group hug. He also shared some of his stories about his grandpa, and there were many who got emotional. (Zach was openly weeping.)
As for whether or not this moment will be included in the show Thursday, it’s hard to say. Typically the TV show doesn’t deal with matters from the outside world, but this was such a significant story that we could see it being included. The problem with Thursday’s show is that there’s not a lot of time to edit it in. They’ll have to work around the clock if they really want to make this happen.

Sorry for his grandfather’s death, but he was given preferential treatment in the way it was shown on the show. What person goes on a reality television show when someone in their family is dying from cancer when it was shown last night that Frankie does not need the money. He should go home and be with his family, and lost a lot of respect for him with his choice of staying on the show when money is not an issue for him. Made it look as if money or fame was his priority.
