‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11: Photos from Camilla Luddington, Jessica Capshaw at table read

The “Grey’s Anatomy” family is finally together again! As we teased recently, Tuesday marked the big first day back for all of the cast at the table read, and this marked an opportunity for everyone to catch up, spend some time talking with one another, and really remind themselves about what they’ve been away from the past several months.

Creator Shonda Rhimes was also fairly active when it comes to capturing a few moments. In a series of posts on her WhoSay account (which you can see below), she shared images of people largely responsible for bringing us some of the show’s most-beloved couples: Camilla Luddington and Justin Chambers (Jo and Alex), and also Sara Ramirez and Jessica Capshaw (Callie and Arizona). Both pictures are pretty sweet, and also a nice little reminder of the family atmosphere that exists for those who work on the show.

So what is coming up for these couples? Here’s what we know for the time being.

Jo and Alex – Alex made a move at the end of last season to try to secure a better financial future for himself, and the word “future” is something that will probably hold some strong consideration moving forward. He has to figure out whether or not he and Jo are compatible as spouses, and move things along in this direction … at least eventually. We expect to see these questions more on his mind.

Callie and Arizona – As we reported recently, these two are going to try to at least put on a good face and believe everything is getting better in the wake of their decision to welcome another child. But, is it really? That is the larger issue at hand, and there will be some drama that comes their way eventually.
