‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11: Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey, cast prepare to get going
All fans of “Grey’s Anatomy,” be prepared to commence your celebrations shortly: In just a matter of days now, the show will officially be underway with season 11 with most of the cast on board.
While the writers have been hard at work on the show for several weeks, Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey, and the rest of the cast will be on hand Tuesday for the first table read of the season. This is where they can really start to take a look at everything that lies ahead. We’ve heard already from creator Shonda Rhimes that this is going to be the season of Meredith, at least in that she has lost her “person” right now in Cristina, and has to go on forward trying to figure out how to handle complications in her personal life with Derek. Maybe Amelia will be someone to rely on, but it’s still a little early in the game for her to know for sure.
Also, we know that some other potential stories this year include Jo and Alex trying to figure out what their future is, Callie and Arizona trying to move forward with the baby plans despite a myriad of other problems, and of course the typical cases and patients that tend to pop up on the show all of the time. These are the things that, at least for now, are pretty difficult to deal with and to predict.
The show starts up this year on Thursday, September 25 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, and this time around there is no two-hour premiere.

Everything will be fine as long as Derek and Meredith continue to have a future together! Just saying…
