‘The Last Ship’ episode 6 preview: Does Danny Green have the virus?

For most of “The Last Ship” so far, we’ve at least seen something that looks somewhat like unity with most of the characters. Unfortunately, that could be changing as early as next week with an episode that carries with it the title of “Lockdown.”

What are we going to see here? The biggest thing to look out for is a sense of panic and despair. It will start to look as though Chandler is starting to lose control of the crew around him, and there will be trouble that comes with that … especially when Rachel starts to have a near-impossible time getting her vaccine to work properly. Take a look at the synopsis below now if you want to get some further information:

“Panic spreads when Danny Green catches a mysterious illness that might be the virus. Doubts rise about Rachel and her failing vaccine trials as Chandler deals with a crew whose uneasy state grows.”

This is something that Chandler and really most of the crew had to realize would be coming up eventually. It will be very difficult for anyone to live within a world where there is always peace, and there is not anything to worry about when everyone has something to be afraid of.

The real test of these people is not going to be whether or not the members of the ship survive, but rather if there is a way for them to unify despite the uncertainty. It may sound silly and like a cliche, but without this, there is really no hope for any of these characters.
