ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: One of the first teases from Emily VanCamp

Great news for all “Revenge” fans out there: Production on season 4 is officially under way! Filming began for the show earlier this week, and we have one of the first teases to celebrate courtesy of star Emily VanCamp.

In a new post on her Twitter account, the actress behind Emily Thorne / Amanda Clarke / whatever she is called now shared a little tease about a Nolan / Emily scene that seems fairly pleasant … and a good indication potentially of where Emily’s head is at early on in this coming season:

“And we’re back! Day one of #Revenge season 4 complete :) #Nolem in a Bentley. #Onlyinthehamptons”

Ultimately, this does make some sense to us. We imagine that this upcoming season probably is going to start with Emily in a great place, given that she has finally dismantled the Grayson family once and for all, and gotten much of what she came back to the Hamptons for in the first place. Unfortunately for her, we’ve also seen on this show time and time again that happy endings are rarely ever that. More often than not, we have seen them devolve slowly into despair thanks to terrible things happening all around our characters. For Emily, one of these “terrible things” is probably going to be Victoria finding a way to escape her present situation, and another could be David Clarke actually being alive the whole time. Based on that scene with Conrad, he certainly does not seem to be the innocent man that many have projected him to be.

Given that the “Revenge” season 4 premiere airs on ABC come Sunday, September 28, we imagine that we will have plenty more to share here in the way of details before then.
