‘Big Brother 16’ review: Did Devin go home to his daughter?

Tonight’s “Big Brother 16” episode carried with it a very predictable feel from the beginning. The live feeds made it clear that Devin was probably going to be heading home, and when we saw his outfit for eviction night, that was made all the clearer.

There’s not really that much to deal with here from a drama point of view, but let’s go ahead and share some of the highlights from the night anyway.

The campaigning – This was the editing team trying to make it look almost like Caleb had a real shot of going home. While nobody in the house really likes him, they also don’t feel the pressing need to send him packing before Devin. Nice try, editors!

Big Jeff meets Donny’s family – Apparently, the show really wants to push “Big Brother legend” Jeff Schroeder down our throats now. We give him a hard time, but his interview for the most part with Donny’s crew was funny. Most of his family is adorable for one, and it gave us further insight into just how truthful the guy really is despite all of the conspiracy theories of him in the house.

The eviction – This was pretty darn predictable. We were hoping that there would at least be some fun with a hinky vote in here, and Christine had at least talked about it. Unfortunately, nothing like this happened and it was a boring vote. At least Devin had a good attitude about leaving, right? Most of the goodbye messages were good, and we imagine that Zach may be used for every one of them here on out.
